In Zimbabwe, Africa, you will find the magnificent Victoria Falls, at a height of 128m.
The location is known as the "Devil's Swimming Pool". During the months of September and December, people can swim as close as possible to the edge of the falls without falling over.
These falls are becoming well known amongst the "radical tourist" industry, when more and more people search for the ultimate experience.

Little girl and her father were crossing a bridge.
The father was kind of scared so he asked his little daughter,

March 8th is the international women’s day and it is being celebrated throughout the world. Does anybody knows why it is so special?
In most countries around the world women do not have proper rights in society. Thus women's rights and women's day gain in importance today. It's the day to talk about women, their rights and their problems.
The day is an official holiday in Albania, Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, China, Cuba, Italy, Laos, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Macedonia, Moldova, Mongolia, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, and Zambia, and is observed by men giving the women in their lives - mothers, wives, girlfriends, colleagues, etc., flowers and small gifts. In some countries (such as Romania) it is also observed as an equivalent of Mother's Day, where children also give small presents to their mothers and grandmothers.
In our life we come across women everyday in form of mother, sister, wife and so on. Our life is surrounded with women’s but less importance was given to women . Maybe because of the belief that women are given fewer rights than men, the world needed to celebrate a special day for women, for being a woman.
Some facts are
·Each year, more than 500,000 women -- at least one every minute -- die from pregnancy-related causes. The vast majority of these deaths occur in developing countries. An African woman's lifetime risk of dying from pregnancy-related causes is one in 16; in Asia, it's one in 65. In Europe, it's one in 1,400.
·Of 876 MILLION illiterate adults in the developing world, two-thirds are women.
·Of the more than 600 million school-age children in the developing world, 120 million primary school-age children are not in school; 53 percent are girls.
·In higher education, the level of women's enrollment equals or exceeds that of men in western Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean, and developed regions outside western Europe. But in sub-Saharan Africa and southeast Asia, women's enrollment continues to lag behind, with 44 and 38 women per 100 men, respectively.
·Half of the world's refugees and displaced people are women and girls. As refugees, they are particularly vulnerable to sexual violence while in flight, in refugee camps and during resettlement.
So we surely need Womens Day to spread the awareness about women.
It was late night and I was returning home after work. I was driving on the OMR Road. If it was not for the moon I couldn’t differentiate the time. I could see the roads busy with cars, two-wheeler moving around at this time like, as if it was daylight. I was searching for a hotel to eat and I found many big hotels open with bright lights and people are entering the hotel at late nights mostly with their partner and moving around slowly. If we take the Chennai before some 10 years this was not the case and now Chennai looks like New York – the city that never sleeps.
People started pouring in the hotels with their partners and seem to have a nice time till late nights. We have beginning to start adopting nightlife at an alarming rate. Many clubs are open these days till 11:00 pm. People start coming around 9:30, have wine, dance, had a nice time and then leave. Most people who come are IT people and businessmen. When we asked to an IT person he says “I got work all day from the morning to night in weekdays and coming around and hanging around at night helps to reduce stress levels and able to continue his work the next day fresh”. This was the case current days. The parents of the girls are also started mingling into this culture by allowing their sons or daughters to stay late.
Is this culture we are slowly moving into is a boon or a menace. Only the future can tell about it, but surely it will not be a boon. This culture makes us more spoilt.
